INTERNAL ANODE INSTALLATION
EQUANS can provide sacrificial anode installation, to ensure corrosion protection within the monopile. Our demonstrable experience and robust procedures ensure a seamless end-to-end process. We work in collaboration with our clients to develop the appropriate installation method below the airtight deck to enable the anodes to be placed within the internal water.
CATHODIC PROTECTION INSPECTION
One of the fundamental risks to all operators is the structural integrity of their assets. To ensure integrity is maintained it is critically important that the best corrosion protection system is in place. Our experts understand these challenges and can assist in maximising asset lifespan.
Our qualified teams carry out both internal and external cathodic protection inspections, analysis and repair or replace failing protection systems.
GROUTED CONNECTION REMIDIATION
Our knowledge and experience has been achieved by successfully delivering numerous grouting remediation campaigns.
We have developed and implemented effective solutions to facilitate the remediation of common failures to the grout infill of the connection between the monopile and transition piece. This includes the installation of internal structural platform supports to the monopile.
To date we have successfully completed remediations to over 170 foundations.
SAFETY UPGRADES & RETROFIT
Keeping our teams safe is embedded in our values and culture. We strive for a safer environment in which we can all work. To ensure this EQUANS has a tried and tested innovative design to safeguard access and egress within the wind turbine.
These are installed by our technicians and provide safe and quick access to the lower platforms utilising a safety gate barrier over the previous hatch in the floor.
COATING AND INSPECTION
EQUANS has successfully delivered numerous coating and inspection campaigns.
Work is typically carried out from the client’s onshore base ensuring all measures are taken during the coating activities to protect the environment and all coating systems are guaranteed to conform to NORSOK M501 standards.
STATUTORY AND TURBINE INSPECTION
EQUANS can provide statutory and turbine inspections in accordance with the written scheme of requirements for the life span of the wind turbine.
These inspections are carried out by our in-house inspectors based on the specific requirements of the foundation. The results are compiled and issued back to the onshore office support to finalise the final detailed report.
OEM TURBINE SERVICING
EQUANS has a proven track record in providing mechanical and electrical service contracts.
Our capability and experience present our clients with a creditable alternative to traditional OEM service contracts.
Our in-house authorised technicians can work alongside OEM / client technicians to make up or lead service teams to carry out all isolations to work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic pressure systems.
CONSULTANCY AND RESOURCE SUPPLY
